hi im wondering what would be the best car to buy under $2000 dollars. Im going to college and only have 2000 dollars and need a car fast. Any suggestions?

Honestly, for 2000 dollars you cant get much now days. The only thing you can probably get is a old car with alot of miles. But, if you are only going to spend only 2000 dollars, look for like a honda or toyota. You can get an american car like a dodge neon or similar for that kind of money as well. If you want little horsepower, you can look for an american can from the late 80s and early 90s, buicks, caddilacs, pontiac, chevrolets, you name... theres alot of cars for under 2000 on sale, but you will probably need more money to make them run properly.

My advice is to save up a little more and buy something a bit newer with lower miles.

i would have to agree with car guru on this one. You should do a advanced search on autotrader and cars.com for vehicles in that price range and see for yourself what ever works better for you. What ever the case will be, try to get something with the lowest mileage possible. More miles on the vehicle means you will spend alot more to fix it. Good Luck!

well i suggest that you should look better to quality not on the price.. high price doesnt mean that this have a good quality.. just be practical.. you can try search on the car that have a price range under $2000 dollars.. i think you could get a lot of suggestions and options from the internet..
